Buster is a small boy with a large imagination. His father is an unemployed magician and his mother a hard-working woman. His younger sister is a dreamer, like Buster. Buster has a tough time in school but he has one unique skill: he can perform magic. Two classmates are his worst enemies but he outfoxes them. He has a crush on a girl, he performs magic, and he daydreams his way through this charmer of a film.
