Summer 1990, Stockholm. We’re at the Jewish home of antiques dealer Ruben Cohen. The two oldest children return to celebrate their mother, Rosha’s 60 birthday. Angelique, 25, still lives at home. She studies psychology, hence her nickname ‘Freud.’ A few days before the party, Rosha learns that she has inoperable cancer.

Told with warming humor, we watch how her final weeks are used to clear up unfinished business.
